Access Water-Quality Data

Two types of water-quality data are available for the sites in the Tongue River surface-water-quality monitoring network:

• APPROVED DATA have been reviewed, quality assured, and approved for publication by the USGS. These historical data can be retrieved from the USGS National Water Information System (NWIS) database and are available for most of the sites in the monitoring network.
   
• PROVISIONAL DATA are preliminary, have not received final approval, and may be revised during subsequent reviews. These recently collected data are available for all sites in the monitoring network.

To facilitate retrieval of water-quality data, links to retrievals of specific classes of constituents are provided in the following table. If you wish to retrieve approved data for a specific time period or for other constituents, please click on the button for a 'Customized table.' This button will take you to a summary list of all published water-quality data for the site.
